SYDNEY, Australia – 11 May 2021 – Independent Reserve announces the appointment of new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Philip Lois, and Board Director, Rachel Cobb.
Philip Lois has been appointed to the newly created role of CFO, effective from April 2021. Philip was previously Deputy CFO at ASX-listed E&P Financial Group (ASX: EP1) where he spent over 10 years and during which he was also previously CFO of the business in the US. Prior to joining E&P Philip was an Associate Director in the investment banking team at UBS in Sydney.
In his new role at Independent Reserve, Philip will oversee the day-to-day management of the finance function and supporting the Company’s growth ambitions.
In addition, Rachel Cobb has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director to the Board of Independent Reserve. Rachel is an experienced Board Director and angel investor with a diversified background across financial services, aviation, media, and management consulting in the Australian, New Zealand, and Asian markets.
Rachel was most recently Managing Director for Latitude Financial Services in Australia. She also previously led the Consumer Finance Division at General Electric where she saw the business through a multimillion-dollar transition to new ownership. Rachel is also a member of Chief Executive Women, the organisation representing Australia’s most senior women leaders from the corporate, public service, academic and not-for-profit sectors.
